At Top Gun Trading, we takes gains on trades of a variety of lengths.  Sometimes they are quick hitters (in and out in a few minutes).  Our general practice is swing trading which means we will hold a security for a couple days up to about 5 weeks.  This post will be followed by or regular trades.

Okay, the blog is up and running.  Today was a little lazy for us as far as trading.  Dow closed down 22 and I really need to look at the weekly chart to see what I think is coming.  I will make comments tomorrow, but now it is time to go have some fun and relax with the wife and kids.  Remember to always take a break!  It keeps your mind much sharper.

Okay, here’s the deal.  I’m building some custom foosball tables and am thinking of donating my time and money to build a custom Top Gun Trading table.  I use Tornado Foosball components and then custom fabricate everything else.  We work with a graphic designer to build our own playing surfaces complete with custom logos.  The outside of the table also has custom graphics for any given logo and includes our own “Viper Foosball” logo.  I am looking to raise $1000 towards the cost (that’s only a portion of the cost of materials) and will donate everything else myself (table valued at over $3000).  Once the funds are raised and the table is built, we will listen to member’s ideas about the best way to let someone WIN it!  It could either be a raffle or a stock picking contest.  Use the “Chip In” widget to donate!  I am hoping to have this done by February of next year, but we’ll see how the donations go.  This will be sweet!
